"Wonderful hotel - good location"
We stayed at the SAS Radisson for 4 nights when visiting Moscow for the New Year 2006. The hotel is very conveniently located for public transport. Turning left out of the hotel, Kievskaya metro station is located approximate 5 minutes walk from the hotel lobby. Not less than 3 metro lines including the ‘circle line’ stop at the Kiev metro station which makes it an easy point of departure for exploring Moscow. Around the station area, there are kiosks where you can buy water etc and if you walk a bit further, there is a MacDonalds and various Russian restaurants. The room we had was wonderful, spacious, and clean and everything worked perfectly. The hall area on our floor was undergoing some refurbishment but it did not affect us at all. Staff at the reception was very friendly and efficient and helped us booking restaurants in downtown Moscow. We were very happy with our stay and can truly recommend the SAS Radisson.

"V. comfortable and friendly service - recommend"
When I was a student in Moscow in the early 1990s, the Radisson Slavyanskaya made a big splash as the first real Western-style hotel. Returning to the city 10 years later, I wasn't sure what to expect.
Delighted to report that we received excellent customer service from every member of staff we encountered at this hotel. It's not cheap by any means (where is in Moscow?), but the Radisson Slavyanskaya is a reliable and safe choice.
Stayed for 3 nights in a king-sized room with a beautiful view over the Moskva River and a sumptuous bathroom. Travelled with my husband and 10-week-old baby who was accommodated in a comfortable cot.
Had one dinner in hotel at the Japanese restaurant which was pricey, but quite good; room service breakfast was capacious and expensive, but there's no Russian food on offer.
Hotel is well located for transport, next to Kievskaya metro and rail station, and just 10 minutes from Red Square. Also check out the street market behind the station for local colour.
Final tip: If your luggage isn't heavy, take the Circle Line metro from Kievskaya to Paveletskaya and transfer to the airport express train to Domodedovo - it's a hassle-free 45 minute trip and only 100 roubles.

"Excellent hotel and good value for money."
i was staying in the radisson last week and i have to say that the hotel was excellent value for money.
as with everything radisson it was very clean, efficient, safe and most of all it gave you a feeling of comfort.i had a really nice large room on the 8th floor with fantastic views of moscow.the room was very clean, warm and the breakfast in bed was very good.i asked for room service breakfast at 10.30am and they delivered on the button.
the staff in general spoke english and they did all they could to help and sort any problems i had.the door staff even though they looked tough were keeping a sharp eye on everything espically at night and so much so that there was no unwelcome guests into the hotel annoying guests at night.
i can only say good things about the radisson as usual.

"Very professional, easy access to Metro"
Staff was very courteous, most spoke English well. Bar downstairs was pricey, but staff was cordial. Restaurants were VERY pricey. Try walking across the pedestrian bridge (directly outside) to a large shopping/food area with indoor mall.
All in all, first-class throughout.

"Very professional, easy access to Metro"
Stayed 1/7-1/11. Rooms were average, but very clean and restocked promptly each day. Directly next to Kievsky rail station and metro, makes it easy to get downtown (about 5-7 min. ride; cost: $.40 US).
